MikroTik CCR2216-1G-12XS-2XQ is a high-performance Cloud Core Router designed for ISPs, data centers, telecommunications infrastructures, and high-capacity enterprise networks with 25G and 100G connectivity support. It features a 16-core ARM64 processor, 16 GB RAM, and Marvell Prestera Aldrin2 switch-chip architecture for efficient handling of high traffic volumes. The device includes 2x 100 Gigabit QSFP28 ports, 12x 25 Gigabit SFP28 ports, and 1x Gigabit Ethernet port, suitable for backbone, core, aggregation, POP, and data center networks requiring scalable high-capacity connections. Supported Layer 3 traffic processing is offloaded to hardware, reducing CPU load and improving throughput. The 2x 100G QSFP28 ports support backbone, core router, data center uplinks, router-to-router, and high-capacity internet uplinks.
