Extralink PERSES is a 10-port PoE switch with 4 operating modes: AI QoS mode, AI VLAN mode, AI Extend mode, and smart power mode. The AI QoS mode is ideal for monitoring purposes, ensuring the highest priority processing of video data for smooth video transmission.

The AI VLAN mode can effectively isolate ports 1-8 to reduce broadcast storms and improve network performance.

In AI Extend mode 1-8, the switch can effectively transmit data and PoE power up to 250 meters for devices such as monitoring systems, cameras, and access points. In AI PoE mode, the switch automatically detects and supplies power to connected devices according to the IEEE 802.3af/at standard, automatically restarting devices that fail to respond.

How does a PoE Switch work?

The device supports the IEEE 802.3af/at standard for automatically detecting and defining PoE devices and supplying power to them, ensuring no risk of damage to any device. If the switch detects that a device does not comply with the 802.3af/at standard and is not receiving power, it will request power over PoE.
