The UBNT EdgeMAX family's UBNT EdgeSwitch ES-24-500 model, designed to meet the broad enterprise network needs, comes with 24 Gigabit Ethernet ports and 2 SFP ports, supporting 802.3 af/at and 24V Passive PoE standards. The EdgeSwitch ES-24-500 provides non-blocking throughput of 26 Gbps (24 ports with no packet loss and simultaneous forwarding) and a switching capacity of 52 Gbps with a forwarding rate of 38.69 Mpps.

When you connect a product that supports 802.3af standards, the EdgeSwitch automatically detects and powers the connected devices. If the connected device supports 24V Passive PoE, you need to enable PoE+ in the EdgeSwitch's management interface for the connected port.
