RF Elements SH-CC 5-30

RF Elements symmetric horn sector antennas provide a symmetric and circular radio frequency (RF) radiation pattern, addressing the critical and weak points of standard sector antennas with its standard N-type connector support.

Standard sector antennas produce a relatively wide but flat radio frequency radiation, which can result in unwanted signal noise, susceptibility to frequency interference, and blind spots in the coverage area where the desired regions are not covered.

While standard sector antennas provide a wide radio frequency radiation in the horizontal plane, they are limited in the vertical plane. If the sector antennas are positioned at the highest point of the coverage area, the service customer or station is very close to the center point and below the sector antenna, the customer/station may experience low signal quality and bandwidth issues.

This problem can be described simply as the darkest point under the flame. Symmetric sector antennas provide a symmetric and circular RF radiation pattern, similar to the expanding waves. This unique RF radiation model creates a more compact coverage area, reducing the blind spot problem to the minimum.

The symmetric sector antenna design minimizes the impact of regional signal interference. This feature eliminates the need for unwanted RF signals, additional reflectors, and isolation equipment, making it easy to install and operate in high user density areas.

Symmetric horn sector antennas redefine infrastructure planning standards with their scalable planning option across a wide range from 30° to 90°. RF Elements Symmetric Horn antennas eliminate the requirements of standard network designs across this range.

Additionally, they provide higher efficiency in scenarios with unique RF radiation and shared area usage, offering better isolation and full coverage area compared to traditional sector antennas. As shown in the upper left image, symmetric horn antennas can provide a more compact coverage area on the installed point, offering a wider variety of asymmetric coverage areas to meet the needs of the sectors the antenna is looking at.
