Bluetooth labels play a significant role in IoT setups where data is broadcasted over short distances. You can use these small devices to track the proximity of various objects. For example, if you have a Knot network switch in different sections of a construction site, you can use these labels to locate construction tools, electric equipment, and other assets. Simply attach the labels to the required devices, and the nearest switch will detect the nearby labels. It is extremely useful in warehouse logistics. Don't you want the system to notify you as soon as your shipment arrives at the warehouse? They use very little power, with a built-in 220 mAh battery lasting for years.

When the label is activated, it will broadcast advertising packets to the switch as iBeacon, Eddystone, or MikroTik telemetry. These packets include telemetry data such as the MAC address, acceleration, tilt, and battery charge level. The switch will then send the data to a remote server using MQTT or HTTP protocols. By default, the advertising packets are sent every 5 seconds, but you can change this value as desired. For example, setting the interval to 1 second would typically allow the battery to last for two years. The built-in accelerometer not only detects acceleration (movement) but also whether the device has been dropped or bent (free fall detection). The indoor version of our BLE labels operates in the temperature range of 0°C to 70°C, is impact-resistant, and comes with a built-in accelerometer.
