MA5800 is the first intelligent aggregation OLT with a distributed architecture positioned as a new generation OLT for NG-PON. The product is designed to help operators create networks with more bandwidth, higher speeds, and better services for smarter connections. The OLT terminal provides access to GPON, XG-PON, XGS-PON, 10G PON, and P2P 10GE/GE. It supports distribution in FTTH, FTTD, FTTB, and FTTC networks and can be applied in scenarios such as home access, enterprise access, and wireless Internet access. MA5800 functions as a high-capacity aggregation device in the network, simplifying the network architecture by collecting traffic from ONTs, MDUs, and campus keys.

Huawei MA5800-X7 chassis can be mounted on a 19-inch rack.

The modular platform is equipped with slots for service card installation and supports up to 7 modular GPON cards with 16 ports each.

The hardware and software are compatible with MA5800-X2, MA5800-X7, MA5800-X15, and MA5800-X17.

Huawei OLT GPON MA5800-X7 6RU chassis includes:

Two MPLA control modules (each with 4 SFP/SFP+ 1/10G ports), 48V two PILA power supplies, and fan modules.
